Classic Negroni Recipe
The classic Negroni cocktail recipe is equal parts gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. It's the perfect bittersweet flavor profile, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
Mezcal Negroni
A mezcal Negroni is one of my favorite recipes, because I love a smoky cocktail. Just swap the gin for mezcal and sip away!
Blood Orange Negroni
This Negroni variation adds blood orange juice for light, bright flavor and a little dilution so you can imbibe without getting too tipsy. Enjoy it during citrus season!

Negroni Sbagliato
As Negroni recipes go, this one might be the fanciest, made with Prosecco instead of gin, using the same 1:1 ratio. Make it when you're celebrating, or just because you want to!
Boulevardier
The Boulevardier may be one of the most well-known Negroni variations, with bourbon whiskey swapped for gin. I love one of these on a chilly night!
Rosita Cocktail
A Rosita cocktail is one of the few Negroni recipes that is not made in three equal parts, it adds dry vermouth as well as sweet, and the aged tequila makes it a very smooth drink.
Milano Torino Cocktail
One of the simplest Negroni cocktail recipes, the Milano Torino only has two ingredients—Campari and sweet vermouth. It's lower in alcohol so it makes a nice all-day sipper.
Americano Cocktail
The Americano cocktail actually pre-dates the Negroni—Italians were enjoying it back in the 1800s—so you might say it's the original, not a variation at all! It's a light and refreshing mix of Campari, sweet vermouth, and club soda.
What snacks to serve with Negroni variations
Regardless what type of recipe variations you choose, if you want to enjoy your Negroni drinks like an Italian, do so during aperitivo hour. Think happy hour but in a more refined and lingering kind of way. Campari is an aperitif, the bitterness gets your taste buds ready for snacking, then dinner.
